ConocoPhillips's Alpine Pipeline Company is the managing partner of Alpine Transportation Company (ATC), the owner of the
Alpine Pipeline System. ConocoPhillips owns
approximately 78% of the system and Anadarko owns 22%.
The Alpine pipeline is approximately 34 miles in length
having an outside pipe diameter of 14 inches. The system originates at the Alpine Oil Field
on the North Slope and connects into the Kuparuk pipeline 34 miles to the east.
The system has one pump station located at the Alpine Field. In its third year of
operation, ATC currently transports approximately 90,000-100,000 barrels per day of crude.
