Facility Sharing Agreements

Both the Prudhoe Bay unit and Kuparuk River Unit have existing agreements in-place covering the sharing of facilities and services.

Prudhoe Bay Unit

There are three primary categories of facility sharing agreements relating to PBU facilities and services. First, there are a number of agreements that relate to operations of the Lisburne Production Center. Second, there are agreements related to processing PBU satellite production in facilities originally developed to produce the main Prudhoe reservoir ("IPA Facilities"). Third, there is an agreement authorizing third party sharing of certain equipment and services ("IPA Equipment and Services"). The PBU Owners also have entered into agreements that address the use of specific equipment. A summary of these agreements can be found by clicking here: PBU Facility Sharing Agreements.

Kuparuk River Unit

The KRU has two primary agreements covering facility access and services. The Kuparuk Satellite Facility Sharing Ballot (Ballot 255) provides access to KRU process facilities. The Ballot Agreement Authorizing Non-Unit Sharing of Kuparuk Participating Area Facilities (Ballot 260A) provides access to services and equipment. A summary of these agreements can be found by clicking here: KRU Facility Sharing Agreements.

No facility and infrastructure sharing agreements are currently in place for the Colville River Unit.
